NEW RELEASE ANNOUNCEMENT: STOLEN KIDNEYS FROM FINLAND!

Since its inception back in 2009, Stolen Kidneys has been spreading it’s noise-rockish
sludgy hardcore across Europe. Think of early 90’ post-hardcore bands in the vein of
Unwound and Slint downtuning their guitars and aspiring to sound as heavy as Breach or
Neurosis.

After their final tour in Russia (2019) before the world as we knew it ceased to exist, it was
discussed that the trio would expand their horizons and seek out a fourth member to
handle vocals. That fourth member was found pretty quickly and the band started to write
and rehearse material early 2020, which would turn into the sophomore album ”Maailma
loppuu”. Maailma loppuu will be co-released on August 6th on vinyl by Kohina Records
(Finland), minoRobscuR (Germany) and Drown Within Records (Italy). The Cassette and
CD versions will be solely released by Trepanation Recordings (United Kingdom).

Maailma loppuu was recorded and mixed at Tonehaven Recording Studio in the Finnish
countryside of Lievestuore, Finland, back in August 2020 by Tom Brooke. This is not the
first time the band has decided to record here, since their debut full-length, Ruin, was also
brought to life here. Other Finnish acts such as Oranssi Pazuzu and Kairon:IRSE have
had their highly acclaimed albums recorded here. Mastering duties were handled by the
one and only Pentti Dassum of the legendary Deep Turtle.

CARNE – Modern Rituals

The french duo comes back with a new album, Modern Rituals, plunging deeper into the urban blend of noise and sludge already settled on their previous release, Ville Morgue.

This new record expresses all their skepticism and unease towards a society where sarcasm and mediocrity became criterias of appreciation if not values to be defended at all cost.
A society that constantly and repeatedly broadcasts its own decay, drowning masses in a sea of ignorance and ready-made reflections.

Modern Rituals marks on a new step in Carne’s methodical research of more darkness, loudness and sombre psychedelism.

The repeated collaboration with Marion Leclercq (Mütterlein, Overmars) brings a new approach and tighten the ropes around the malaise pictured here (on “The End of Us” and “Lord Less”).

SUMMIT “REMNANTS” DEBUT ALBUM

AMOUTH “AWAKEN” limited edtion vynil

 

Located in Arezzo, IT, AMOUTH were born in 2011 as an evolution of a different
musical project. They meld post-hardcore’s typical heavy and thick sounds with atmospheric interludes; lyrics are in english. After a lot of time spent on stage and writing new songs, the band started recording their debut album “AWAKEN”, which was entirely produced on their own between summer and autumn 2013. Due to some line up changes, Amouth currently IS Gabriele (Mouth – Guitar), Lorenzo (Bass), Lorenzo (Guitar) and Luca (Drums). In late december 2014 “Awaken” will be available on vynil format via Drown Within Records, Shove Records, Time As Colour, Indelirium Records and Oceano Records..

SEDNA “SEDNA” DEBUT ALBUM OUT THIS FALL!

 

Sedna is a 3 piece post black metal band from Cesena. The listener can find references from bands like Altar of Plagues or AmenRa. However, we and our own personalities are the main source of inspiration. As a result, the sound is particularly personal: our purpose is to make a sound that can be distinguished from any other band on the planet.

The band tries to create a sphere of deep hope with large atmospheric doom/sludge parts, mixed with deep black phrasing of extreme rage and introspective hate against us in first place…against everyone at last.

Sedna is the first full length of the band. It will be released on 20th October via Drown Within Records and Unquiet Records (POL).

Sedna is produced, recorded and mixed by M.Caggiano @ Soundscape Studio SSS (Forlì) and mastered by the mighty Colin Marston (Gorguts, Altar of plagues, Baring Teeth..) at  The Thousand Caves Studio (USA). Emrevoid is a 4 piece blackened death metal band from Cesena. They were born from the ashes of band called Thy Cold.

Emrevoid is composed of members of Lambs, Alien Syndrome 777, Blackdrone Inc. and an ex member of Dementia Senex.

Emrevoid sounds desperate, brutal and black-tinged influenced by dissonant death/grind and avantgarde metal.

Riverso EP is produced, recorded, mixed and mastered by M.Caggiano @ Soundscape Studio SSS (Forlì) and is released by Drown Within Records on 20st September.

DEMENTIA SENEX “HEARTWORM” EP OUT NOW!

 

DEMENTIA SENEX is a project that was started, and keeps getting developed over the years; from 2008 to 2011 the band, which was at an embryonic stage, slowly started to grow.

The band got to play with bands such as ULCERATE (NZ), MOUTH OF THE ARCHITECT (USA), ERYN NON DAE. (FRA), HIEROPHANT (ITA), LENTO (ITA), SVART CROWN (FRA), FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE (ITA), FUCK THE FACTS (CAN), NERO DI MARTE (ITA) achieving good visibility in the italian underground metal scene.

In 2012 Dementia Senex feels highly motivated and has already started performing live, with a new line up. A new repertory, much different and meaningful; a sick mix of death metal, post hardcore and doom is ready to be played.

On 09.04.13 “Heartworm” EP is released by ThePathLessTraveled Records (USA) and Drown Within Records (ITA).
